MoD AFGHANISTAN -
In continuation of the ongoing "RejectOppression" retaliatory operation

At about 5:00 PM today, Afghan Air Forces carried out an airstrike on the Pakistani military’s strategic center, "Hamza" in Faizabad, Islamabad.

The attack precisely targeted the command center and other critical installations of the facility using drones, causing heavy casualties and substantial material losses to enemy forces.

There's a theory doing the rounds of X that Pahalgam was either instigated by the US or they had previous information about it .

Now the question being asked is why ? What does the US gain from this ? The theory goes that Modi would definitely retaliate & in doing so the Paxtani establishment would obviously approach Trump to defuse the situation.

Result - Paxtan owed the US which in turn would get the former to dance to its tunes. First & foremost would be relations with China would be on the backburner.

Secondly the planning was if the 12 day war last year went out of hand Fauji Foundation would be encouraged to open up a front against Iran.

As an aside if you recall Paxtan & Iran saw some serious exchanges in 2024 over allegations that Fauji Foundation was supporting Balochi terrorists in Iran.

Fauji Foundation as usual took some time to understand why Trump was singling out Paxtan for special treatment over India what with the sanctions in place last year & Trump administration officials bad mouthing the Modi government & India.

Speculations are the present Paxtan Afghanistan war especially the latest escalation is to prevent KSA from invoking their mutual security pact & get Paxtan to open up a front against Iran .

Since Congress & MMS don't rule India any more meaning 26x11 type strikes aren't possible , Fauji Foundation opted for Afghanistan. I'm not sure if this a wise move too.

Truth be told I'm not endorsing this line of thought nor am I outrightly dismissing it After all there were strong rumours 26x11 was engineered by Fauji Foundation to prevent them from being dragged further into the US's War on Terror in Afghanistan & complicating Fauji Foundation's relationship with these same terorist groups it had help birth & nurture.

India didn't rise upto the bait for a whole host of reasons especially the lack of preparedness of our armed forces , the familiar N blackmail which got dhotis & suits in South Block soiled & so on but also because the US leaned heavily on the MMS government especially the Italian to exercise restraint.

Former Afghan president Hamid Karzai says he "condemns in the strongest possible terms" the Pakistani bombing in Kabul.

The Taliban claims 400+ people were killed; Pakistan denies this figure and claims it was a military installation. The Norwegian Refugee Council independently confirmed hundreds of dead civilians at the site.

I wonder how Taliban will take this.
While it doesn't rely on a any popular support from civilians for its rule... If it fails to punish pakistan for this, than their whole "Fight for Afghanistan" foundation will be in matters.

That's an organisation that fought for outsiders against outsiders. As for pak.. the way I see it, various groups just got the best recruitment material against Pakistan.

Renewed fighting erupted along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan on Wednesday after a temporary ceasefire expired, killing at least two civilians and wounding others in eastern Afghanistan, Afghan Taliban officials said.

The brief truce had been announced by the two sides ahead of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr. Ziaur Rahman Speenghar, a director at the information and culture department in Afghanistan’s Kunar province, said Pakistani forces fired dozens of artillery shells into the Narai and Sarkano districts, killing two civilians and wounding eight others after the ceasefire expired.

Afghan border forces returned fire, he said, claiming they destroyed three Pakistani military posts and killed one person. His claims could not be independently verified. There was no immediate comment from Pakistan’s military. However, a local Pakistani official in the northwest accused Afghan forces of initiating the exchange of fire in multiple areas.

The latest violence comes about a week after both sides agreed to halt hostilities following Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan at the request of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar. The pause followed Pakistani strikes that the Afghan Taliban government said hit a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul, killing more than 400 people. That toll could not be independently confirmed.

Mortar and rocket attacks launched by Pakistan against neighbour Afghanistan killed four people on Monday and injured 70 more, Afghan Taliban’s Deputy Spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat said in a post on X.
