I went yesterday to Aero India 2023 in Bangalore. The aircraft line up was really impressive! People were lining up to get into the cockpit of the Gripen. Indigenous items were highlighted especially the iDEX initiative.

Civilian & Military technologies are two sides of the same coin, our industry producing pathetic goods & we civilian are staying away from it most of the cases. Military also doing the same,after all they are the one who fights for us with those equipment. Imagine people losing life due to faulty items which are procured only because of Desi tag on it .
Long time back @Hellfire said how insas cause multiple lose to IA during kargil & insurgency peak time.

Bihar BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy flies Rafale fighter jet at Aero India show in Bengaluru

Lauding the fighter jet for its efficiencies, Rudy told TOI on Wednesday, “It is a fifth-generation fighter aircraft, two fleets of which have been inducted into the Indian Air Force. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and the latest weaponry. It is very fast and quite low in enemy radar detection. It is a proud acquisition by the government of India”.

The Saran MP, who is a licensed pilot on board IndiGo airlines, has earlier flown several other fighter jets, including Sukhoi-57, American aircraft F-35, F-16 and MIGs.
