India vs China - War Gaming Scenarios : Related News , Updates , Discussions & Analysis .

Those plans have been in the making since the past few years . I thought a decision was taken given your grand announcement.

Meanwhile I found this piece of news intriguing 👇

Was under the impression Pralay was already certified for induction.

This is something I've been advocating since long & is essentially low hanging fruit that can easily be accomplished . If they're still mulling over it which is change & a good one to say the least , when exactly are they going to get down to doing this ?
Not just mulling but decision has been reached to use quasi-BMs like Shaurya and MRBM like Agni-Prime series along with new short/medium range BM-04 etc. for battlefield tactical use under the umbrella of our forthcoming "Integrated Rocket Force". It's on now.

Frankly I'm sick of the prefix forthcoming. They'd better get around to deciding & implementing it this year if they're serious & would like to be seen as such.

Moreover I'd like to see the entire Rocket Force deployed latest by 2029 with all the elements in place & not go in for piece meal acquisitions spread over a 5 year plan extendable by another 5 . Expansion of the force can follow.

Finally we need missiles with a max range of 3500-4000 kms in our arsenal too for us to fire missiles from the Eastern front as opposed to the NE to reach Beijing.

Dhvani, 5500km+

Has it been developed tested certified & deployed in huge numbers like say a couple of thousands ? If not no point bringing it up here till this has been accomplished.

I was referring to what we have now which can be deployed not something which is on the way & will be with us in another decade.

There's the Agni family of missiles with ranges between 2-4000 kms which can be converted to tactical use.

We can also boost mfg this entire family of missiles to a few thousand per annum . We need such a capacity N-O-W not in a 5 years or a decade.

I respect that the first action of the Indian govt was to send aid. But I guarantee if this were the other way around, the Chinese would not have missed the opportunity at online infowar (indian dam collapses, india fails to warn nepal, india fails to protect american tourists, etc. etc.)... which I have no doubt they're currently running focus groups. Even the wording almost frames it like a natural disaster:

Dhvani is meant to be a strategic weapon and HGV are expensive to produce. I doubt even China has more than few hundreds of DF ZF.
