SAT-SAAW is an air-to-ground precision guided glide bomb which can be launched from platforms like Jaguar, Hawk & Su-30 MKI, and has the capability to neutralise enemy airfields from a long stand-off range. Indigenously designed and developed by DRDO, the system will have an indigenous content of 60% along with indigenisation of sub-systems like Initial Measurement Unit, Long Impact Delay Fuse and Twin Store Carrier to further boost Aatmanirbharta in defence.

The delivery of SAT-SAAW is scheduled between 2027-2028 and 2028-2029. Its induction would certainly enhance the operational capability of IAF to continue their unhindered operations and strengthen defence preparedness of the country.
HAWKS are also going to be equipped with SAAW

This means Combat Hawk has become a reality

The language is can be.

Combat Hawk will not happen.

18:30 As I mentioned earlier the booster assisted REK by JSR dynamics is derived from khagantak glide bomb.
32:25 Also as I posted earlier the weaponised version of their MGLD developed for the navy IDEX program (LRP2GM). Twitter dehatis mischaracterize it as a subsonic air launched cruise missile. :ROFLMAO:

Very heartening to hear how the Indian government has taken to supporting the private MIC. The entire episode was a treat to watch.

I have a general question related to compisites and missile bodies , I couldnt find the answers on the net or mabe i dint try hard enough . But this place should be a good one for getting the required info .

So the question is that General missiles like AD/BMs/A2A use composites right? Whats the yellow colour on them?
Is it general fiberglass or its an advance version of it ? Does it provide enough strength to endure g-loads ? Or is the body metal wiith a coating on it ?

For eg i have seen the yellowing of missile bodies on a lot of indian missiles . can anybody explain?

Please be mindful of what you say especially sensitive stuff as a response to seemingly harmless questions of this id . This person is on Pak dB and also likely from pak and more than once doxxed sensitive info of Indian strategic storage locations on web.

What he is asking for here isn't sensitive information. I know he is from Pakistan.

Also, posting satellite imagery available on the internet shouldn't be called doxxing. If that qualifies as doxxing, then I have been doxxing the Indian military everyday.

No, aerospace grade steel, titanium & aluminum alloys still dominate these applications. Composites are a relatively new entrant into aerostructure applications. Most missiles, especially the solid rocket casing of motors are still made with some variant of maraging steel. Especially MR-250, that is still considered the industry standard.

Whats the yellow colour on them?
It is a primary paint coat, usually Zinc Chromate/Zinc Sulphate for corrosion protection. Most aerostructures receive at least 2-3 coats of paint. Stealth needs even more layers. Here is a photo of DRDO's Gautam/Gaurav glide bombs with the yellow paint:

Here is what they look like after final coat:

While in this instance it is not sensitive information, I have seen him ask some sensitive stuff before and was denied that info. The persistency bothered me and therefore wanted to put up a post, so more eyeballs know about this poster's background.

Noted on the satellite imagery part. Even though public info, asking for stuff here and labelling and circulating this info on an adversary country's defense board bothers me. Again wanted to draw attention of unsuspecting new members so they are cautious around these poster's questions.

Remember that Major's wife who got in trouble because she wrote articles for some Chinese guy even though she only used ChatGPT.

I have also observed what this person @grez refers to posts on X along with some chinese handles. The sat pictures they discuss may not be high resolution, but are not something one would expect to be widely available on the net. Any information to an adversary (even if open source) can have bad consequences. So it is advisable to be very cautious when replying to this individual.

Just to remind, adversary is at high alert and watching with hawk's eye. A lot of information is open source, but still not in grip of the adversary or not paid attention. Important is to avoid pointing that out and not to provide it on platter., let them dig and burn night's oil and spend resources.

Well any Person with "Classified Knowledge" Knows not to say it on an Open forum or any chat space .

Also i didnt asked for any Location or actual technical stuff that would get me highlighted . Once jokingly asked the cords but was denied which was fair from the members . The only question i asked which you can call sensitive was the Silo one - which before me has been asked by indian memebers too.

Lastly , You keep talking about my background and stuff while knowinlgy that i didnt hide it .
I have even mentioned my X account in my introduction....

Good on you for being open about it. like screambowl said some information is open source but it's better not to help making connections. You/Your guys may possess some sensitive piece of the puzzle already but are only wondering why something trivial is done as part of the process. Our guys better not disclose that seemingly non sensitive info too and hand it on the platter. Again this is not in relation to this question. My post was a caution to any future interactions. People are going crazy all over the world, so it was a heads up to our guys in general 🙏
