AMPL emerges as L1 for AAAU for AMCA

They have tons of experience in this field now, so it was more or less a given that they would get the contract for developing the AAAU unit for the AMCA.I wonder if Data Pattern also participated in bidding.
AMCA's AAAU is similar in size to that of F-35 and J-35's aperture. Smaller than F-22 and J-20's aperture.
Basic CAD model outline of AMCA is ready.
Solid & rendered views in green primer, stealthy tinted canopy.
Cockpit is empty, needs time to model small area with right measurements.
Full surface features remaining, will model 1 by 1.
Started with F-22 model but AMCA got ahead so far.
Fortunately my old laptop didn't crash or hang bcoz Blender's old versions also work sufficiently well for discussion purpose. No GPU needed, just 100-150 MB RAM with Core-2 Duo CPU.
I'll be tweaking this basic CAD as per my comprehension, but i wanted 1st to make a model closest to used in official infographics, so that we can discuss what improvements can be made with minimum modifications, like FOC & MLU.

This Reliance and Rolls Royce partnership is really weird ,to say the least
RIL has no experience in this field or rather in any HI Tech
Manufacturing

could u suggest some sites or article to know more abt thisRWR is a device that carries such types of arrays. Such arrays are a part of anything that transmits and receives EM signals.
Yeah and why did they move RWR antennas that were all bunched together on the tail of MK1 to wingtips of each wing in Mk1A if not to run interferometry and TDOA?When it comes to fighter jets, as of now only Rafale has this capability operational and combat tested. The F-35 is still getting there.

Initial outline of notional cockpit.
1 piece canopy w/o arc.
HMDS instead of HUD.
60 x 24 cms TV, i mean MFD.
From F-22 to F-35, we notice many hard switches, buttons, dials, knobs have been offloaded to MFD & HMDS.

If AMCA's IWB can be widened & Astr-2 AAMs staggered then similar to F-22, 6 Astr-2 AAMs can fit.
In A-G only mode, it may allow total 16 SAAW bombs.

Theoretical straight segments diverging S-Duct.
Engine face not visible through corner of DSI intake for stealth.
Duct cuts through IWB's front upper part.
Theoretically, space for SWB also available but in a medium class jet perhaps that's needed for sufficient internal fuel & equipment. Later i'll check CAD body volume & compare with other jets.

Wouldn't that angular elevation of the inlet change the trim of the aircraft, as the air flows into the duct and strikes the walls of the inlet in upward direction. And to counter balance it you need some kind of changes. This is experimental value most probably and then thrust plays it's own role.

You asked a PhD question. An aerodynamics pro can tell you best.Isn't 10.5kw cooling capacity for 5th gen radar a bit less ??Thread about AMca radar & AESA Single Array Sensor Fusion
