Interesting Reddit post that quotes from a paywalled article:

"Apparently SpaceX is no longer accepting Transporter and Bandwagon missions (that were pushing down smallsat launch prices) beyond 2028/29. And all planned launches are sold out.

This should be good news for smallsat launchers like Skyroot and SSLV. But "launch on demand", "low-cost" SSLV launches are so few and far between that Spacenews article does not even mention it(!), when apart from Electron, SSLV is the only smallsat launcher with any successful launches. (article does mention Skyroot and PSLV, however)."

They'll miss out on this as usual, considering very low cadence of ISRO and even slower rate augmentation. Skyroot isn't ready for series production

Forget ISRO, I'm more hopeful of Skyroot & Agnikul moving ahead at least as far as cadence is concerned. Got my eyes on what Astrobase gets up to in the next few years as well.

Skyroot isn't ready for series production

They're talking about a post-2029 scenario. Skyroot will be in a better position by that point.

It's non-reusable, its 2026 and we are so behind than everyone else.

I know, indian private space players dont have money unlike americans.

Falcon-9 was funded by NASA, we too need ISRO to help them get money they deserve.

But surprisingly, even ISRO budget is too low for even itself.

I am not even happy with LMLV specs, they are just chasing Falcon heavy+ specs, and tech is 2 decade old.
