Operation Sindoor: Aftermath

If we see the current government has done nothing but delay the engine development program for years: just delays, delays, and more delays. There's no funding for the test facilities... Sure, they're moving forward with KDE and GHATAK, but we're really short on test facilities. I don't get what's holding the MOD back from approving the funds for the indigenous R&D program; the approval process is still very slow. Fingers crossed for Project Kusha, hoping to see some real progress soon.
GOI and IAF both don't have too much faith in indigenous jet engine development(with current track record), that's why we are looking for JVs and also trying to rope in more private players like Godrez, TASL etc. Plan is to develop whole new Jet-engine ecosystem within the country. We will succeed this time around and cross the final barrier in our drive towards self-dependency, i.e., to have "know how" and "know why" of advance jet engines for all our future fighters/UCAVs.

Yes, there are delays but our current GOI has done a stellar job in other sectors like expansion of our A2/AD network which whole world witnessed last year.

The terrain that the IA and BSF must cover in the North and Northwest is exceptionally challenging, requiring specialized weapon systems that traditional OEMs may struggle to provide. It is perplexing that both the Min of Defence and the IA continue to behave in a lax manner, even after OP Sindoor. Certain assets currently in development or available - which offer distinct advantages- remain neglected despite having passed various operational/terrain trials.

It's almost a year & paizaans are still unable to repair damage to the hanger at bholari...... People can imagine what happened those planes parked inside...... Minor damage my a$$

Just imagine the state of affairs about the availability and maintainability of their remaining Erieyes and F-16s who now can not receive deep maintenance as conveniently as they earlier could. Not to mention the hangar probably also had spare engines and LRUs as these are certainly not just basic aircraft shelters.

They probably got their reality check that no place is safe in their fauji banana republic and anything, anywhere and anytime can be fired at them and there's little they can intercept.

We probably used not even 1% of our BrahMos stockpile in Op Sindoor. Maybe 4% of IAF's ALCM versions and maybe ~2% of annual installed production capacity.

Hundreds more of them to be ordered.

GoI/IAF give chump change to indigenous programs while major spending goes to foreign purchases. Then turn around and say they don't have faith in indigenous programs.

Nice cause and effect we have here.

The same gora-philes will tank private efforts as well especially if they continue with under investment in India.

What's our end goal,
As per the parliament resolution 1994, the entirety of J&K is integral part of India,
Do we want to integrate the rest of the land or we gonna degrade the Pakistan military capability,

To achieve either of those we will have to win the ground action,
As it's not gonna be small conflict as it was in may,
In May our objective was to strike the terror camps inside Pakistan & POK, we achieved those objectives, rest of the strikes were retaliation for Pakistan actions,

But this time it won't be a limited action as pakistan military is legitimate & primary Targets and the strikes on terror groups didn't deter or degrade Thier capabilities,
Pakistani military personnels are more lunatic, even if we take out the airforce, they still would have the missile launchers, artillery & MLRS, drones, and the endless supplier China,
We have to cut the connection, it also implies our roads & bridges and tunnels Will be also legitimate Targets for them in the war,
Cities Will be targeted, industrial infrastructure, adminstration, Power grids, water resources,

And the ground action will face the threat of PFV drones, missile and other threats,

The country needs to be prepared for loss, as we Will face some serious losses to achieve those objectives,
And the threats are bigger, India have to up the war time productivity & resources, as a one we have to fight,
And We have to show no mercy or remorse, we can't achieve those objectives without flattening what's is present in the other side if we want the losse to be minimal,

What will be our real objectives? The political beaureau ( all the parties) need to have clear goal, can't change them like the orange men midway,

The damage was massive. Everything inside is blown, also notice in the periphery the blast/fire marks. Looks like the ATC was also knocked out.

An interesting conversation. Ignored the thumbnail and clicked, some detailed info. has been shared in the book as per what Vishnu Som said.
