Missile Test Watch

so will this be dhavani? or another agni 5 with MIRV or MaRV?

Unless someone in the government comes out and reveals this (which is unlikely but not impossible, given, it was done for MIRV test) — no one will know!

finally updated over the ocean navarea , its the long one only. the other area down below is for space debris related different notam, not part of missile test. Only the long polygon is the missile test related.
There is a small dot like area at the top of the long notam, that is some IAF firing notam area very small near the coast, from 13th to 17th. This one might be for LCA firing. That notam only says IAF firing and we got HAL to deliver Mk1a on 17th October. So maybe more jet completing firing trial ?

We can see its very small zone for IAF firing. Perhaps aam firing or gun firing on banshee drones, small area to track.

I was reading on X that apparently both US and Chinese observation ships were in the region and that’s why the test got cancelled. Imagine if the next notam is of 5500 KMs 😂

Imagine if they do it without issuing NOTAM 💀. And it's captured by merchant ships while yuan-5 is in service at some singapore port

Some poor passenger plane or merchant ship can get royally f#%@€$ in the process 😐

I have a feeling a new NOTAM is around the corner - let’s see. If a test was scheduled, it won’t be scrapped for sure.

We don't know what you're talking about. There was no test scheduled. India will constitute an international committe to investigate the incident which has nothing to do with India.

P.S Just a joke. I know it's not realistic either diplomatically or technically (satellite).

This is not how we do test of ballistic missiles. China did one time by issuing a 10 min notice of some slbm (which was caught by a jet passenger that was way nearby & extremely dangerous). There are international regulation for such tests, notams must be issued a week or more prior.

It was a joke. Not a serious call for Action. I thought adding the 💀 emoji will reflect the sentiment 😂

Thank you for the information though. I did not know that, and it was good to find this piece of event

Guess what happened? ;)
As I was telling above, but may not be LCA related, or could be given the bombs, JDAM, laser bombs were also in the tender doc of the universal weapon trolley. So who knows. JDAMs are loud.

Loud sound heard in Balasore of Odisha, locals panic stricken

-Loud_sound in Nilgiri and surrounding areas
-Loud sound was heard today as well as yesterday -People were scared by the loud sound, they came out of their houses
-Information that bomb drop test was conducted on Abdul Kalam Island
-But no formal information has been given by DRDO in this regard

What's with this silly assumption among Indian defence enthusiast that we are somehow postponing our tests because of Chinese research vassals? Like when they were not there in IOR when we tested our missiles. I remember one being Parked in Sri Lanka yet we tested our missile a few years back. I'm not completely rejecting that their presence could impact our tests just that it's not the sole factor. There could be many reasons unknown to us whether technical or circumstantial we don't know..
It's not just the presence. It's also the proximity. While big vessels make headlines, the real challenge may not be in the news. Plus, chinese are mastering advanced tech and our defense ecosystem wasn't on edge either.

Ofcourse there could be other reasons too. But just as there could be other reasons, this could be a reason too. And this potential reason is what can be discussed among people who are not in the know hows
