to be fair @Hydra has a point. I dont encourage friendly fire as it risks turning the forum into an echo chamber.
Whether paying with grass, gas or a$$ Pak is managing to beat back the diplomatic pressure built on it over the years. It requires a sustained diplomatic push on India's side to ensure Indian interests are protected or we are looking at a rehash of the 80s only this time there is no USSR and Russia is already wobbly due to Ukraine.
Fried Marshmallow has made a Faustian bargain which will come to collect sooner or later. But then like I say - Pakistan has an exclusive patent on Tactical Brilliance and Strategic Retardation. He has mortgaged Pakistan to Carrothead who will leave office one day. The effects of this deal will linger on.
Pak has grabbed / pulled every straw it could reach.
Selling out to US
Sucking harder on China
Getting into a one sided pact with Saudis (which will make them fight houthis, and potentially get them beaten up in the streets if Saudis sign a peace deal with Israel)
Taking more loans - we know how that ends.
This mess simply refuses to go away and we need to accept the dark reality. Our obsession with Pak gives the west a perfect tool to keep us busy. Which brings us at a crossroad. Either we get over our obsession with Pak or just man up and get rid of the problem for good.
The selling out of pak can't be a critique of India's foreign policy. Which has been widely used by him to show some kind of doom.
The issue is much more nuanced and not appreciated enough while he has refused to engage in a discussion. It's more like narrative peddling, which creates a challenge for forums credibility itself.
If only he engaged back and forth.. and put his own point forward rather than acting like a member of info war team
