We shot down PAF aircraft not only on 7th early morning when we went into offensive, but also on 7th night when they tried to strike us under the cover of drones thru pop up attacks. We again shot few more on 8th and after that anything which came within our AD arcs, were taken out. The total count of PAF losses in air is in two digits.

All are by s400?

Yet another example of the umma'h collaborating with kuffar to oppress the former !

Tauba Tauba , maamu !!

Kuffar will spin this as another failure of Do Qaumi Nazaria .

And as long as Islam fights itself more than the kuffar , the dream of Paxtan emerging as another Riyasat e Medina will remain just that , a dream .

Plus Khansama the only leader who can galvanize the masses to revolt against murtad Shi'a Munira & the equally murtad Fauji Foundation to establish Riyasat e Medina , is behind bars in Adiala surrounded by khusras & khwajasaras - his only loyal voter base who comprise the vast majority of the PTI like yourself.

Truly heartbreaking !! @safriz

The guy who started the missile program for the kuffars was a ummah chummah too @safriz 😂. Speaking of Abdul Kalam, he had envisioned Astra BVRM way way back in the 1980s, it took us 30 years to realize his vision. Let's hope Astra gets action in the next air engagement.

They will continue to serve after 9 years.

All well and good, only 2 questions-

1. Gets us back to a fighter zoo situation- like now or recent past. The logistics of maintaining a diverse fleet vs a more uniform one. Why can't we standardize on Mk1/Mk2 (light), AMCA (medium) & Su30 (heavy, until AHCA arrives)? Super Sukhoi should see Su30 through to 2070-80.

2. Even with J35 *censored* will get their *censored* handed to them and they will still claim victory. Is a Su57 really a counter to J35 or is it induction of stealth defeating tech? So what problem is really solved by acquisition of Su57? Chinese have had J20 for several years now- we are missing matchimg inductions on our side- so what changes with J35?

As said before.
Induction of few squads of manned stealth jets as an stop Gap, will let us get used operating stealth jets, forming our doctrine on how to best utilize stealth jets all this can start 5-7 years before 1st squadron of amca mk1 ioc is formed.
This also means iaf can induct and train its pilots faster on amca and its usage when it goes into full scale production.

Few squads of stealth jets if delivery starts in 2030 will mean by ~2035 we will have few squads of foc stealth jets which which we trained to utilize which we can use for limited tip of the spear role.

Unlike the alternative where we don't have any significant manned stealth jet capability till late 2030s, even then we will have limited ioc amca mk1, with whom we won't have enough training time to learn utilize efficiently before 2040, plus due to lack of prior experience with operating stealth jets IAF squadrons will also be slow in learning and operationlizing amca.

There's a reason Indian navy is leasing an SSN from Russia, both as a temporary deterrent but also to maintain and further gain experience in operating SSN's and train its crews.

You mean, off the shelf purchase of Su-57? I read some reports that India has apparently refused f-35 due to priority of "make in India" part.

How will that play out geopolitically?

Geopolitically will ruffle trump's feathers.

But operationally will be a balanced compromise between ordering 100+ su57 with local production which can endanger amca program due to lack of money and between not having any limited but significant manned stealth capability for tip of the role spear role until ~2040s.

Like, initial su57's delivered all went to training squadrons and experimenting squadrons not directly to combat squadron, those initial su57's are also used to test cooperation with drones, cca's and flying wings, to test weapons, to test network Centric warfare, to train to fight utilizing all those.
That's the fate of initial squadron, not immediate effective combat capabilities just because delivery began.

Su30 launching 500km range Brahmos ALCM or other high precision SoWs with which we can hit an ac duct of enemy facility hundreds of kms away during Op Sindoor, while not allowing *censored* to come close because of S400 - doesn't it achieve the same purpose as sending AMCA into heavily defended AD zone, launching a missile and fleeing? We are achieving the same goal - destruction of HVT irrespective of whether we use a pistol+silencer (stealth) or rifle+precise ultra long range bullet (SoW). What I'm getting at is, we need not tie ourselves in knots. We have adequate tech buffer till AMCA comes online if we invest in counter stealth tech.

Secondly, let's say *censored* induct J35 and we do Su57/AMCA today- will the two 5th gens take each other on? They will try and sneak as close to the border as possible while we will try and ID (& shoot) them as far from border as possible- what is the role of 5th gen in countering J35?

use for limited tip of the spear role.

Each fighter is unique. Learnings from one may not apply to the other. For tip of spear we have Su30+Brahmos & Rafale+Meteor & upcoming Tejas+Gandiva.

There's a reason Indian navy is leasing an SSN from Russia,

leasing is fine, owning is not, as you have to bear life cycle costs over 50 years. Are fighter aircraft lease programs popular? & why should we invest in 2 5th gen programs when 6th gen is on the horizon?

If there was any passing thru a small exhaust like AC duct , it would not be something like Brahmos (which would penetrate thru the general marked area where operator would put the flag in , instead of passing through a duct channel) at all. Rather it would be something with EO seeker view and datalink ie spice like system that is relatively slower and can adjust accordingly for such an engagement. Our TARA is also made in similar way, EO module is vital for such.

This GTRE Bimari needs overhaul and some good use of it.

Stealth is power and technology projection. Same way Arihant class submarine. Both are required for second strike capability and camouflage the movement and a stealth fighter is also useful in terrain mapping.

I hope its true , although how the RF seeker would discriminate a particular vent from surroundings without EO data feed I do not know.
Once you ask the rightful question, same people would cite information being classified. As a hardened buried target Brahmos would be the natural choice but entry thru a 45cm shaft part is doubtful though can still happen.

Some part in the above post is obviously absolute horsecrap being fed to counter the equal measure of horsecrap disinfo by the pak side over social media since, as goes the proverb.
