India-Bangladesh relations.

I think that India given long rope to Bangladesh in past is still better, till some visible unrest happens in Bangladesh. The trap got created for India during previous US administration is still there and EU will be particularly happy if India takes the bait. However difficult conditions are there in Bangladesh, it's people are somehow accepting. Any intervention by India will make general populace of Bangladesh more radical and anti India. Still best strategy for India to play using covert hand. First initiation should be either by BD populace or BD army.

Just like Pakistan Bangladesh also has many factions, the Bangladesh army has many groups within the army, Islamist, power hungry generals,
The coup happened cause the Bangladesh army accepted the deal form forgein forces, without them there was never a chance for coup,
R&AW might have some assets in Bangladesh army, the death squads in Bangladesh may have been created with the help of R&AW

I think wait for opportune time is best in addition to covert operations.

The Bangladesh society is fallen, the Islamist have Rose to the power, it's in the similar situation we're Iraq was before isis, too many radical groups,
Those groups gonna clash with the Bangladeshi army in near future, only thing india has to do is strengthen the border, deport the illegal immigrants to Bangladesh

The option to do this is kind of limited by geography — their best bet is Bangladesh and their posture is also very transparent I.e. “we will start from the east”

With Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai 2.0 may be Indian government will think it is time to fix East and West Pakistan.

Our relations with India are not based only on 1971 but also on our mutual interests on many fronts, including jointly combating domestic and transnational terrorist groups. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the government not only signed the Land Boundary Agreement with India but also resolved the maritime boundary issue through a very respectful and constructive engagement. Many neighbouring countries have fought long wars over such matters, whereas Bangladesh and India resolved them peacefully. Our cooperation in the communications and energy sectors has also brought significant benefits to people on both sides.Any government, especially one like that of Yunus backed by Islamic extremists, will never understand this relationship. The Awami League viewed relations with India through the lens of 1971, not through the lens of the Pakistani military establishment. Diplomacy based on cooperation and collaboration through the perspective of 1971 will always help resolve problems and improve the well-being of people on both sides, as it did so positively under Sheikh Hasina. In contrast, diplomacy with India shaped by the prescriptions of the Pakistani military establishment will lead only to mutual loss, with the people ultimately becoming the main losers. I would also refer to the idea of Game Theory for those who fail to understand this approach to diplomacy under Sheikh Hasina.
