I just want to know the reason why we have agreed for the ceasefire.
Total Indian victory here meanwhile Pakistan taking massive L after L....they having nothing to show for here

So here is a little conspiracy theory from me....
Asim Munir was getting a lot of heat. He needed some shed. So he asked Katoras to do what Katoras usually do and also sent some SSG from his old buddies. He did bravado, they did Pahelgam. Vance was in the town, he was asked by someone in adminsitration to cut a deal with India/Modi.
Modi gets a window of banging Katoras and Pakistan in general plus a smooth ramp off. US can ensure this by using that IMF bailout as a bargain chip. US .... will get some favour in trade deal PLUS a PR OP for Trump Admin. So... 5-10 were the days given. Same were allowed to the force. Modi sees many things in it.
1. It makes Modi biggest leader in BJPs history. Not even Bajpei's Kargil can compare. At his stage in career, this is what makes a cap stone.
2. India gets to do away with IWT (if the abyance remains abayance, hopefully...).
3. BJP gets a boost. Even if elections are held right now.
4. Public gets a decent closure.
5. Pakistan gets a warning (what ever its value is).
So starts the plan to bang Katoras. Forces were consulted if they can do it before making them go full Jihadi. They gave options. Modi admin selected few. There were some surprises but this dirty little plan went exactly as planned.

Apparently 2 Pakistani fighter jets were shot down morning today and currently IA is recovering debris and looking for the pilots.

I am 100% sure one Rafale is downed.
They have refuted every false claim by Pakistanis except that one.
No complaining as some losses are expected and more than happy that the pilot is safe but still the Pakistanis will drum this for some time. Good thing is they wont have a trophy to show as they wont have any proof.

I think it was DD or PIB that said on 7th itself that all jets and fighter pilots in the ops are accounted for
I am not an expert neither I know if we lose Rafale or not and hope it was some minor UAV crash but this guy (he is an ex-Rafale-M pilot of the French Navy) has done a comprehensive breakdown of all scenarios that may have unfolded on that night (turn on english audio track)
He highlighted some shortcomings of Rafale, French tactics/SOPs and our operations.
An important point he mentioned is that in all the multilateral exercises like Anatolian Eagle, Pakistanis bring intelligence officers who put on pilot uniforms and they have pretty high level of understanding about our platforms like Rafale and M2000, on the other hand, J-10s is like a blackbox for us.
But I believe (even though I may sound like stupid desk general (which maybe I am)) that IAF should have first sanitized the airspace and carried out some SEAD operations before hitting the actual targets and in press debrief, they could have said that we shoot them in self-defence because they tried to shoot our planes while we do the operations and actively protecting the terrorists(which they did).
