I am just watching the Chinese AD get thrashed all over by everyone. Even the Pakistani analysts abroad are asking - when did it actually work?

They are being pushed by the Chinese. They are literally becoming the sacrificial markhor goat for nuclear armageddon just so that they can assist in Chinese schemes. This is madness. They are completely insane.
 
I suggest members to be less excited, even if we swatted f-16s, jf-17s it should not be the end of our response nor the Pakistani pilots should be returned again atleast for a year atleast, this will be a long haul and we should be aiming higher after every success and be firm and adaptive after any failure tactically.

There are members in this forum who have military experience. Imagine you guys are at helm of affairs and How would you guys handle this scenario? What will be your strategy to overcome Indian air defences ?

We have a proper IADS that extends deep into their air space. Penetrating it requires stealth and advanced EW, both lacking in PAF.

The best they can do is use standoff tactics, but our IADS can stop those attacks. And due to our deeper pockets, we probably have more SAMs than they have long range bombs. Plus our jets can prevent them from getting into formation to initiate attacks.

China is a different ball game.
Even there SAMs integrated with AWACS are required because of hilly terrain.
But no aircraft in the world has the legs (except ironically J20) to hurt China starting from anywhere in India.

Buying the beyond the horizon radar which can detect Stealth planes is much more important.

But because of distances involved and with China having such a huge buffer zone in between neither f35/rafale can hurt China heartland.


With regards to Pakistan, Because of distances involved precise missiles from the land or kamikaze drones would yeald better results.
