I wouldn't get the Navy involved. Strategic assets like that are a massive escalation.
Pilots mostly survive. A few planes here or there whatever.
A ship is easily billions of dollars + hundreds of lives.
That's why the US expression is "don't touch our boats".
Jammu has been hit by arty fire. Its now a full escalation. aaj ki raat katak ki raat hai. My Saala just informed that Jammu has been hit as my wife is from Jammu.
Even tho the India navy far outclasses Pakistani navy by an order of magnitudes , I still think navy might just be used for the economic co*kblock. If it even gets to that point.

As guys have already said. I will add where we lack compared to the Pakistanis. The j-10 and pl-15 are a problem the pl-15's range pushes our engagement envelope into our airspace. So they can do air strikes like sending H2/h4 sows, takbirs and ls series bombs. Those will be harder to intercept by our AD since we don't have something exactly like the iron dome in our arsenal. Then the Pakistanis will have to use their artillery fatah1, fatah 2 and thrir other rocket artillery is another issue but electronic warfare can handle that. Next is their field artillery but that can be countered by our drone swarms. The other issue is their ballistic missiles and the akinci atmaca combo that could penetrate our ad if done in a saturation attack. Most of it can be handled by our ad. The only real problem is removing the j-10 & jf-17 with pl-15's. The rafales with meteors can handle it but still they have proven they pose a threat to 4.5 gen aircrafts too. Once they are removed we can maintain air superiority on their airspace within seconds.
Maybe it will be difficult for scene matching camera based drones in Visible range not sure myself
