Apart from a few old SPADA-2000 SAMs and Mistral/RBS-70 manpads, the Pak SAM network is completely Chinese supplied. Apparently those HQ-9s were a souped up version of the baseline model with longer range. This must be a nightmare scenario for PLA planners in Beijing.
More likely scenario - the Han took the *censored* for a royal ride screwed them nicely & charged them a bomb.

You think they'd sell their state of the art stuff to Paxtan of all countries ?

I wouldn't judge the quality of Chinese arms based on their performance in the hands of the Paxtanis.

Yes , we can get a general idea about it but anything beyond that would be yielding to confirmational bias.

The damage to some water project on Pak side has been said to be fabricated. Using that as an excuse to target Indian infra will not be acceptable and Pak will be responsible for what happens next. - Misri sir on fire today!

They have only 2 dams in the country I believe. They attack our dams, make them 'damless'. And then they will take 80 years to build the next 2.

You know aerodynamics very well. Pls see the hingeline of this rudder and the hingeline of the JF-17 rudder. Then tell me which is the actual aircraft involved.

Also pls notice the way Rafale is written on actual Rafale and the fake Pic.

Even if it's a fake, it's an extremely well-made fake. Anyway, this is my last on the topic.

Updates in blue.

Maybe it's fake, maybe it's not, someday the IAF will tell it themselves.

FS Vikram Misri is clearly saying when the time is right there will be clarification on operational matters (reply to question about loss of fighters).

I think this will prove to be a more mature and effective way of handling things in this age of information overload.

the jets were filled with bombs in a highly active location - high risk of being shot down. Since their A2A missiles were limited their capability to defend themselves would have been limited anyway.

It seems we have now launched Operation Kabbadi first envisaged in 2001.
And we might see a Pak Abhinandan today.
Finally, its story time. 😂

It crashed in Bathinda, PAF cannot kill a jet there without having given chase. Rafale can carry plenty of AAMs with heavy loads. It was 12 HPs and only up to 5 carry bombs, the rest for AAMs and pods.

Anyway, let's end that topic. The IAF is finally doing what they have been designed to do. This is just more distraction.

The authenticity of this picture is questioned. An Indian claimed that he found out using Google that it was a picture from 2012. I searched Google repeatedly today and the earliest picture was from yesterday. So am I lying, or are the Indians lying?

The war has escalated, bigger things are happening now for anybody to worry about 1 or 2 jets. PAF has lost a lot of jets since last night. Their main offensive was also stopped last night. Now the IAF has moved on to SEAD/DEAD.

Pakistan Air force has around 60 F-16's , 150 JF-17's and 20 J-10's . These are not small numbers right ! Why they are not able to successfully penetrate Indian Air space and hit targets across Indian airbases and military installations. Aren't these numbers enough for them to target? Last time during Balakot, I think they launched attack with around 50 aircraft formation. They can do that again right! Why are they scared of S-400 ? If the attack comprises of around 50 jets, how many jets a S-400 can intercept ?

There are members in this forum who have military experience. Imagine you guys are at helm of affairs and How would you guys handle this scenario? What will be your strategy to overcome Indian air defences ?

Note : I am looking for serious answer.
