If Le Pen is pushed out of politics, it will pave the way for "approved parties" to fight future elections, which will make democracy pointless.
Le Pen is unlikely to win her appeal. She will retire. Then they will find some way to ban or cutail RN or some of its successor leaders using some nonsensical Russian interference story.
Looks like IAF is screwed for the foreseeable future. Rafales, according to many in here, were supposed to survive anything Pakistan can throw at it because of Rafales supposed low observability and superior spectra but we now know that export version chicom "junk" is immune to mighty Rafale and its spectra. Has anyone checked in on pic-oil?
Clearly IAF against chicom air force is not going to last long in a conflict. I can't believe some of you think or thought that Rafales were good enough to take on J-20s or survice chicom IADS. IAF needs stealth fighters pronto because PAF is likely getting a lot more J-10's and pretty soon J-35's, IAF can't wait until 2040's when or if AMCA enters service.
The Rafale emerged victorious in this conflict, and the evidence is the precise missile strikes. The images of the engine hold no significance; these fabricated pictures do not have any meaning then where is the fighter aircraft? This is merely a propaganda. The Indian Air Force should consider acquiring an additional 36 Rafales.

To be fair. The Rafale proved itself to be a good deep interdiction fighter. It's BVR capabilities were questionable but that's why we need either the typhoon or f-15EX.
We need about 100-250 rafales and 114 typhoon/F-15EX.
The task given to Rafale was done 100% accurately. In the future, Trump is ready to give us F-35s if we are talking about air-to-air missions; go with a stealth fighter rather than a 4th-gen fighter.
The f-35 can't work well without a 4.5 gen being it's munitions carrier. F-35 is like a mini-awacs/istar/ew aircraft all in one package. We need a bomb truck that can carry lots of weapons and a huge radar with long range bvr capability. Typhoon is the perfect aircraft.

What are you talking about? Israeli F-35I's were in beast mode during hezbollah strike and Iran strike. If India had F-35's they would have used less aircraft to do yesterdays operation. When you're an all 4th gen air force and you're going to strike an enemy with competent air force and IADS you need a cht load of combat aircraft for different roles.
Considering our RoE requires not attacking military assets and only jihadi terror sites( who enjoy aircover and air defence) we would need our f-35's to be in complete sleath mode while the f-15EX and typhoon can offer aircover using link-16 from within our airspace. Unlike Israel we cannot do a DEAD mission against the Pakistanis because our vegetarian politicians are too scared of climbing the nuclear ladder and irking the "international community".
Yup they can but they don't have a huge radar like the typhoon or f-15EX. And typhoon has compatibility with both the amraam-d3 and meteor.
We need a pure bvr fighter with a huge radar and high speed capability. The mki can be upgraded but it cannot integrate and complement the f-35 like the typhoon and f-15EX can.
The Swiss found the Rafale to be better than the Typhoon at BVR.
That's when they had the CAPTOR. With the mk2 radar the typhoon is the superior aircraft until rbe2xg comes online.
Typhoon will have it's MK2 radar by the end of the decade, which is about the same time as when Rafale will receive RBE2-XG radar. Typhoon can't achieve parity, and it's only hope for superiority is ensuring ECRS MK2 radar comes online before -XG.
Without the AMK kit, it can't pull its desired AOA to hit peak ITR. MKI obliterated it 12:0 during exercise Indradhanush 2015.
Clearly, except Rafale we don't need any new 4/4.5 gen type be it EX or Typhoon. F-35 Block 4 and Su-60MKI both should be procured IMO.
F-35 AND Su are incompatible.
It is one or the other. I don't say this in chauvinistic American fashion, but being realistic.
I hope India can commit just as much as China has committed to Pakistan.
