First off, the statement US supports Israel is wrong. The jewish lobby and the evangelical christian lobby support Israel . Nobody curses Israel more than the core leftist lobbies of the US.

You support Congress, which can in today's conditions be broken down into Muslim + someone. You think you are likelier to get help from our left wing than the right wing?
A lot of our pseudo-leftists here post videos on how Syria is being oppressed by Alawite Assad. Ever noticed it? I would bet odds, if ever the Zoros start putting up a fight against the mullahs, we would begin seeing propaganda videos on how you guys are devil worshippers. And I said once, the Pakistani Shias would counter the Zoros tooth and nail. The Pak shias are hunted in their own country and their only hope and sanctuary is the support of the Iranian Mullahs. You would find them more fanatic than the Iranian shias. Because for the Iranian shias, all they will lose is power, they will still have a safe home if the rule changes. But for the Pak shias , its a matter of light and death.
I always liked the Secular Iranians. There is definitely a chance to live with equality in their country , unlike the Mullahs . Would definitely hope we support our Parsis.

Doc, the parsi industrialist will be protected. But, then again, He is not going to go personally and rally opinion. They will employ like minded ordinary people to do the groundwork. And these people will be likely swinging from a crane.

The truth is, in war, covert or overt, the most ruthless side is likeliest to win, unless there is a whole degree of power difference. To be very honest, I didn't push the point on that day , when you informed of 30 million crypto zoros in Iran. But think about it, almost 1/3 of the population, and you find no squeak of them in the internet and social media. its probably likely that their numbers are much lesser and they are simply rebelling against the regime rather than the faith.
The regime and ISIS are your best friends. Isis makes them have a peek at what it was to be a Kafir in 7th century arabia. Till now they imagined themselves as the Muslims purifying the Kafirs. Now the shoe is on the other foot- they are the Kafirs and they are not liking it. Its the reason why the religious Kurds and Iranians are converting now instead of all this while.

The regime in Iran is also your best friend. They represent and speak for Islam and have absolute power. So, the normal Iranians figure, they and as an extension,Islam, is absolutely responsible. If they rebelled and became a democracy, there will be cosmetic changes. But it would be a Pakistan, Bangladesh or Malaysia. It would still be a life with unequal rights. Your people would still be emigrating to fairer pastures. And they would have scapegoats of specific leaders to blame like a Ziaulhaq , Bhutto or a Begum Khaleda. But the system will always tune to their comfort level.
And you don't get converts because the blame is not on a faith but on specific leaders. Magically, the unfair laws, they bring won't be changed even by later leaders simply because it doesn't affect them. The current regime is your best friend. Just let them pile the pressure. Hopefully the Parsis are there to give them a release, without being anal about bloodlines.
