You have no real experience of fighting with Muslims
( Unlike Hindus; Sikhs ; Jews and Christians )

who will support you

The over arching goal being a LAND ; territory to make a Country

But they are getting hit by Turks ; And Syria ; Iran ; Iraq might give temporary support
now which they will withdraw later depending on their interests

Similarly All Kurds might be united now for a Homeland ;
later the Muslims will turn on the the others

- at war with itself

- at its weakest in 2000 years

- led by a 12 year old boy

- fatigued by 2000 years of non stop war with the Greeks, and Romans, and Byzantines

- an ally that delayed troop deployment

- a kid who waited to long

- an unlucky arrow

and

- a sandstorm from hell in the face of the rallying Persian army

To really defeat the weakest Persian army under the weakest Persian ruler possible and a populace controlled and split by war chieftains (our version of your Jaichands).

The war did not end there. Persians fought on for another 300 years in pockets across the land, as initially only the noblemen converted, till finally the commoners all converted by 1000 AD, crippled by tax and increasingly persecuted by their own, the new Persian converts.

I forgot to add (and give credit where its due) to the strategic brilliance and battlecraft of the Arabs very ably led into battle which targeted the war elephants first, causing mayhem in the Persian ranks.

Even at our weakest, it was a formidable army.

There will probably be an eventual redrawing of boundaries, because I do not see Zoroastrianism in any dominant form existing alongside Islam.

Currently what I see as the most likely scenario is the Kurds carving out an independent state.

Persian nationalism growing internally in Iran.

Ideological and monetary support from India and the western diaspora.

Cross border arms and boots from the Kurd state.

But eventually, Iran is too powerful to be beaten by another state. It will have to implode from within, with help from Zoroastrians worldwide.
