Islamic Republic of Afghanistan : News & Discussions

The "shortage of ammunition" is so overused an excuse to try and cover what is clearly an inherent incompetence within the Afghan Army, something that is underscored by the videos emerging of the Taliban getting hold of whole stacks of unused and packed ammunition as they over run, what appears to me to be an easily defensible military base.

So reminiscent of the "brave fight" put up by the Armenians in their war against Azeri Army where pics/videos of intact tanks, APCs, weapons in heaps and packed and crated weapons/ammunition were frequently found in social m edia.

The ones who are fighting may be running low on supplies while the cowards are leaving behind their equipment, I think.

Warlords will rise to prominence again. They will call for resistance and people who do not like the Taliban will flock to them. So we are gonna see a repeat of everyone fighting each other. Whether it will last or not is anyone's guess.
We will see. I do not think the environment exists to give rise to warlords of the caliber of late 80's.

I don't know who all are around, but some of the old names are still in the game.

Can't really expect the Shias and Balochis going down without a fight.

The Pakistanis when they discuss Afghanistan , are Right about One thing

That is there is No sense of Nationhood in Afghan people

They are just Tribes and Communities fighting for A Share of Power and Money

Pakistani Pashtuns are Killing Afghan Pashtuns because Punjabi Muslims are ordering them to do so

Punjabis will be the only winner in this
Intra Afghan War

So Pakistan/Punjabistan will fight Afghanistan/Pashtunistan till the last Pashtun.

BTW what’s happening in Afghanistan right now is a tragedy and if we can’t support the Afghan people in war against tribal barbarians, we will regret our cowardice in decades to come.
Talis and other groups fighting along with them are nothing but zombies controlled from Quetta Shura and Mil establishment of Punjab

If it wasn't for the power held by the PA, Pakistan would be the same.

It's also why the PA fears India paying Kashmir back in their own coin.

Thats the idea , even taliban has not accepted the durand line. Pakistan wants to get rid or totally weaken the pashtuns to consolidate their hold over the land. If things go badly for pasthuns then half the afghanistan will be in some point in future absorbed by pakistan. Thats the reason they keep identifying themselves with all the afghan invaders, not just steal land but history, culture every thing.

We should let taliban consolidate and then let them have a go at their masters , pakistan. In the short run it will have -ve effects but in the long run it will put pakistan in its place.
