Pakistan conducts a test flight of indigenously developed Fatah-1, Guided Multi Launch Rocket System

When it's ISPR, you have to take it with a bag of salt.

It might still be a chinese or turkish missile painted in green but with a potential range of 140km. Even if that was an exaggeration, let's assume around 80-100km. Our Pinaka Mk-2 are 80km in comparison

Mostly an A100 supplied by China since a decade.
“ Multiple rocket launchers (MRLs) are some of the deadliest artillery systems on the battlefield. Combat experience in the Donbass has proven that MRLs can wipe out entire units if they remain static and unprepared. The A-100 is one of the latest MRL systems, reaching operational capability around 2,000. The first units were sold to Pakistan by China around 2008, since then Pakistan has built facilities to indigenously produce rockets for the system. Long-range MRLs are fielded by both India and Pakistan, with Indians fielding the Soviet/Russian BM-30 Smerch MRL. Rocket artillery could incur massive casualties in rear areas in the opening stages of a conventional conflict, as such both MRL systems are considered to be key parts of conventional deterrence strategies for India and Pakistan.”

It's a weishi a100e. The Turkish t-300 kasirga which are based on the Chinese weishis have lesser range...

A 300 And SMERCH are the Same

Pinaka is smaller because it carries a 100 kg warhead

Even then one 60 km Pinaka mk 2 rocket costs 23 lakh rupees

Whereas Guided Pinaka of 70 KM range costs 70 lakh

MBRLs are very expensive

why is it so expensive ? I bet propellant is not the expensive component . Does the sensors and warhead cost so much?
