In my last thread I asked you about your display picture and what it means. Now I'm interested in something else - what do you do for a living?

Again, I'll start. I work for a Norwegian-based defence contractor were I design, develop and test AIs and control systems for autonomous systems, with a major focus on the naval domain. Such programs would include the HUGIN AUV, this particular model being a mine-countermeasures variant.

I occasionally work in safety, project management, sales and presentation and as a liaison between company and prospective partners or buyers. My work puts me in frequent contact with partners around the world and sees collaboration with a multitude of trans-national partners which leads me to travel to another country about once every three weeks. I have a Masters in Process Cybernetics (a 5 year advanced engineering program) from NTNU, which combined with my military background afforded me my current position.

I'm also a part time troll:giggle:.

So what about you?

...

This being the internet I expect everyone is a doctor, astronaut, President of Zimbabwe, the Pope or something along those lines:p.

I'm an aerospace engineer trying to become more interested in economics nowadays. Completely non political and purely technical.

I am a Pharmacist, working as a Project Manager for one of the leading Indian Pharma Giant.. I work for regulated USA market (Generic market). I am working at RND based as Navi Mumbai..

I remember your course now its Cybernetics and robotics but for Scandinavian language speakers only i think.

My profession is Managing Testing program for large HVAC mfg. In past I have worked as design engineer, test engineer, Product development manager, quality engineer and regional quality manager. In my secondary role I am also tasked with strategic projects for the plant to drive improvements which is a nice way of saying I have to get involved in projects that are either facing delays due to it's nature or has ineffective leadership. I do get to work with state of the art instruments and pretty good machinery. In my testing role, apart from performance testing (Thermodynamics), i get to fiddle with acoustic testing, impact testing (frf), harmonics (electrical), etc.

Why not call yourself chemist than an engineer?

LOL ... Chemical Engineers are the ones who design and produce/manufacture at an Industrial scale - like in a Petrochemical complexes, Refineries, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Cosmetics products, etc. A Chemist on the other hand works with the chemistry of chemicals, their reactions and procedure to make them - mainly at a lab scale. They also work on QC.

However, I have delved into several areas like building massive electro-mechanical systems, electronic control systems, traded - mainly imports in Gulf, did my MBA from NMIMS, took a break to go back to school fulltime to rewire my brain into Software technology, and now for almost two decades into it.

Besides working in order to make a living, I spend most of my available time learning about our Universe and our existence. I have intense passion to understand the Cosmos, its storage of Karmas and how they erupt in sequence at a speed of your choice, you can actually control it. And it is the DNA that holds the mysteries of your past Karmas, because that is how you get born of a set of parents with the right mix of Gunas - Sattva, Rajas and Tamas and its associated mix and intensity of qualities in the proportion that the parents were subtly experiencing while you were getting conceived. In essence, we are formatted energy experiencing free energy of the universe. This divergence is what causes us all to suffer. The moment one finds a way to allow free energy to flow into them unhindered, you are not far from Moksha :)

The latest attempt by Scientists in "Unified Field Theory" tries to make an attempt in explaining a small part of what our Sages have already transmitted to us the "Akhand Gyan" through Shrutis and Smritis. It is very mystifying.
