Syed Ali Geelani accuses Centre of forcing demographic change. In a statement issued on Friday, the hardline separatist leader, who advocates Kashmir's merger with Pakistan, said people should organise peaceful protests and demonstrations in their areas of residence.
To many Indians it is sorry state of affairs that were prepetuated by Congress and vested interest. The biggest error has been when the Government of India collaborated with the Local Government in pushing out the Kashmiri Pandits and made them refugees in their own country. There is a need to establish settlements and make efforts to get them back. There is a need to provide security. No law can stop them to comeback and occupy their legitimate properties. Similarly there is a need to ensure that refugees who had come from Pakistan and rehabilated now. They have been deprieved of their rights for long.
Sayed Gillani should first get his family from abroad and agitate along with others. He and his cohorts should be brought before law for having accumulated assets dispropotinate to their known incoe. From where has this ill-gotten wealth come. Remember Gillani only is coaxing the poor to come street who had been deprieved of education and other facilities and has kept his family out of India.
The Government immediately take action to establish settlements.
