Pakistan's Shaheen-2 Missile stage seperation

I am not sure why most Pakistan Missile test videos are blur ...Pakistan strategic force marketing team should get some finance from jf 17 marketing team else our media will get a free topic for analysis.

To me looks like a failure. missile got broken into two halves. the first got separated before time clearly visible
Stage separation does seem to be before time or in other words before consumption of all fuel and keeps firing even after seperation. However the second stage carries on uneffected .
This is a technique used to reduce missile range.

We too are unhappy with low resolution Videos released by our Missile men.

No terrible results would come if the engine of the 1st stage is on and you are trying to separate. The video shows breaking of missile into two halves.

I've not found got any video of onboard cam of Missile showing stage separation, but here is a video showing Stage Separation of ISRO's RLV-TD:

Range is changed by changing payload and/or elevation angle. The changing of load by separation prematurely is not used.

There is a good chance that the ignition of the next stage can make the previous one explode due to overheating of left-over fuel. There is also a possiblity of the previous stage accelerating ahead and crashing with the next stage as a sudden reduction in weight of 1st stage due to detachment may make the acceleration much higher.
