North Korea comes to accept Kim Jong Un can’t bend space, time

The Rodong Sinmun this week denied that the Kim family are masters of “chukjibeop,” a method of folding space to cover great distances in a short period of time, according to the UK’s Telegraph.

Chukjibeop is one of the myths that the Hermit Kingdom has used to deify the reclusive dictator and former leader Kim Jong Il to tout their supposed mystical powers.

“In realistic terms, a person cannot suddenly disappear and reappear by folding space,” the news outlet finally admitted.

An official at South Korea’s unification ministry said Thursday that the rogue regime’s path of demystification is “noteworthy,” the Telegraph reported.

“It appears to stress patriotism and love for the people rather than mystification of the leaders,” the official told the Yonhap news agency.

Since Kim failed to reach an agreement in a second summit with President Trump last year, he has focused on showing more of his “human” side, urging his people to stay away from the mystification of their leader.

“Mystifying a leader’s revolutionary activity and appearance would result in covering the truth,” Kim was quoted as saying in state media after the breakdown of talks with the US.

After a three-week absence, which fueled rumors about his health, Kim showed up on May 1 for a ribbon-cutting event to open a new fertilizer factory.
