On August 24, a military parade featuring unmanned systems took place in Kyiv to mark Ukraine's Independence Day. For the first time in history, ground-based robotic systems, unmanned surface vessels, and UAVs were showcased en masse, operating both in formation and autonomously. A previously unseen version of the Magura maritime drone was also on display.

Ukraine first showed the Koral SAM launcher

The missile has a mass of 450 kg, of which 36 kg is the warhead. Its guidance system combines an inertial navigation system, radio correction and an active radar homing head.

The diameter of the rocket is 230/300 mm, the length is 4.8 m. The wingspan is 835 mm, and the rudder span is 685 mm.

Ukrainian soldiers have demonstrated the construction of makeshift underground anti-drone tunnels. Russian units had previously constructed similar anti-drone tunnels. The system of underground tunnels is reminiscent of the underground cities from the Vietnam War era.

The inevitable has happened - Moscow is now being targeted by ballistic missiles. Only the FP-7 (150kg warhead) so far but the FP-9 (800kg warhead) is coming shortly.

The FP-7 was stated as only having a 200-300km range but I always suspected this to be a lie based on French Hades comparison. This is a real problem for Russia, this missile only costs ~$500k.

Interceptor work being done by FP has been discussed in the video. The data seems to suggest that it is to undergo deployment next year.

As has been mentioned in various threads, component data suggests that the initiative involves quite a few EU defense majors as key partners.

Ukrainian authorities have decided to protect the bridges across the Dnieper not only by deploying air defense systems but also by installing anti-drone barriers. Anti-drone nets have already been installed on the Northern Bridge in Kyiv. It is worth noting, however, that such barriers will not be able to protect the bridge against jet-powered drones like the Geran-4 and Geran-5.

The 1020th Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Regiment of Ukraine has received German Skyranger 35 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun systems, manufactured by Rheinmetall and mounted on the chassis of a Leopard 1 tank. The Skyranger 35 is a mobile version of the stationary, short-range Skyshield air defense system. Its primary armament is a 35mm Oerlikon Mk3 automatic cannon, capable of engaging targets at a range of up to four kilometers with a rate of fire of 1,000 rounds per minute. The system can utilize AHEAD programmable air-burst ammunition. It is equipped with an Oerlikon AMMR radar featuring an active electronically scanned array (AESA), as well as an electro-optical sensor suite.

Skyranger 35 Technical Specifications

Caliber: 35×228 mm (Oerlikon Revolver Cannon KDG).
Rate of fire: Up to 1,000 rounds per minute.
Effective range: Up to 4,000 m.
Ammunition capacity: 252 rounds.
Radar: Target detection range up to 35 km.
Electro-optical system: HD camera, MWIR (mid-wave infrared) camera, laser rangefinder.
Ammunition: AHEAD programmable rounds
(air-burst detonation in the vicinity of the target).
Protection: STANAG 4569 Level 4.
Crew: 2 operators.

The Ukrainian military has, for the first time, evacuated a wounded soldier to the rear using a heavy-duty hexacopter—the "Gurzuf Defence," developed by the company SkyFall. The footage shows the hexacopter—specially equipped with systems designed to prevent swaying or the risk of flipping over in mid-air—transporting the soldier to safety. It is worth noting that this method of evacuation carries significant risk, given the prevalence of enemy interceptor drones. Previously, SkyFall unveiled the "StarGate," a heavy-lift drone featuring a medical capsule for evacuating the wounded, which boasts a payload capacity of approximately 150 kg.
