Pakistan army's serving officers are there along with Taliban in Afghanistan. They can get everything from Pakistan and slowly their main areas of operations will be border securing and mines securing plus the drug cultivation.

Pakistan had been preparing for this day since ages. They have simulated it many times.
two beggars dont make a rich company. If US & co squeezes the finances of taliban we will see the right results. Even if china steps in there is not much they can do, bombing & killing innocent civilians is easier but running a govt is harder. A cash strapped country will have more corruption, so we will be back to square one again.

But Pakistan is not alone. Many oil rich islamic nations have been part of it as well. Many people from a particular community in India also celebrated Taliban takeover. Taliban takeover , It was a celebrating day in many Islamic nations.

Arab GCC will stay out of it. If you noticed they are keeping their distance from Afghanistan. Iran is already turning hostile.

Arab GCC lost its depth in Afghanistan when the Saudis ditched the Pakistanis due to Yemen. Afghanistan is now a qatar-turkey-pakistan show. The Taliban just see iran as kafir Shias. So it will be good if we exploit iranian paranoia against the Pakistanis and Taliban.
And if the claim of Gen.Bakshi is true of turkish and Chinese mil trainers in jihadi camps we can see a lot of changes. The Turks are one of the best mil's in Europe. They are Nato-trained. So the terrorist and jihadis entering kashmir this time will be a different breed..

There is a reason why they begged us for the ceasefire. Pakistan had lost every card. And the Afghanistan card turned out to be it's Ace of spades.
They are prepared to use the TTP to act as victims and use the afghan Taliban to do what they have been doing in Kashmir since the 90's. We need to flatten PoK this time..

The Taliban 'victory' can broadly be equated to the performance of a flock of seagulls during a football match. They occasionally shat on the crowd and then reclaimed the crossbar after the players had left the pitch.
call them whatever , but they are celebrating 9/11with a bang. Its like pokin in the eyes of US and its allies twice.
Biden must be feeling invincible now as he has done facing on of the biggest humiliation as a POTUS. The “boys with the bro code” and their Handlers at Rawalpindi, has done to Biden what no othe president has ever faced apart from Nixon to a lesser extent.
These thugs may very likely melt away as they are a propped up group with brutal ideology and oppressive mindset. It has happend many times in Afghanistan and may happen once again.
But the damage they have done to US and Afghan people is irreparable.

TTP was used to crush Sirkhas or what they call “Nationalist Pakhtuns” or “PTM type” on this side of Durand line. Even its current spokesman was freed by Pak army last year in exchange of toying army’s line.
They are no terrorist but just a subgroup of Hakkaniya network.
And this is the reason Pashtoons hate TTP and TTP regularly kills prominent Pakhtoons leaders from KPK.
Also this is the reason the PTI govt was installed in KPK and KPK was downgraded and merged into FATA.
@safriz can correct my story as a well educated punjabi living in Brampton

They are Nato-trained. So the terrorist and jihadis entering kashmir this time will be a different breed..

What difference that makes? The army sitting on land for 70 years will always have upper hand than intruders. It's not like we lack surveillance and other hi-tech gear on LoC. Unless jihadis have covering fire, most of them are likely to die on LoC.

Was listening to Gen katoch, he simply asked what has changed? Did Paxtan lack jihadis or trainers or equipments to intrude LoC before Taliban? No. He also predicted that Taliban can impact Muslims in mainland India through ideological persuasion than guns.

Continual drone strikes would be my choice.

Irreparable. The US is several thousand miles away, and largely untouched since the war started.

In a way it's the political culture that leads to withdrawal. When crime continues in the US and UK year after year do we suspend police operations? Yet when it comes to military operations, that is exactly how politics works.

They have NVG's in the thousands. Already it's going in discussions in upper echelons that the Taliban and the Pakistani jihadis will be far more equipped in night fighting than us. With night fighting capabilities they can bypass surveillance far more easily than earlier. Also they will be equipped with m4 and m249 and the m24 sniper rifles and other American weaponry which is known to be quite accurate against our Ak's. Even though the 5.56 is a trash round. Let's not forget about one of those TRF sniper who had an M4 and was sniping a bunch of security troops. Now imagine 20-30 of them doing that along with thermal scopes. On top of that they will have BPJ's so 7.62x39 might not even kill regular jihadis. We need to mass upgrade the RR and CRPF trooper otherwise we will have an embarrassment in the future. Though all this will take atleast 3-6 months for the Pakistanis to execute and to send the new talib trained/equipped jihadis. And with nato style training it will be quite difficult to tackle for our average CAPF soldier..

"Afghan forces with at least 600,000 infantry weapons including M16 assault rifles, 162,000 pieces of communication equipment, and 16,000 night-vision goggle devices"
"Votel and others said smalls arms seized by the insurgents such as machine guns, mortars, as well as artillery pieces including howitzers"

Now even a 10000 of rifles and 100 NVG systems given to the jihadis will put a lot of complications.Along with other explosive hardware will take the insurgency to next levels it won't be easy. The insurgency "might" turn into PKK or Chechen tier CI war which we are not prepared for.
To counter this we will need more drone surveillance and better armoured vehicles and better overall surveillance. Heck we might now need armed drones too..

Tell me what those so called allies or more appropriately the protectorate states like SoKo, ROC,Soudi Arabia, Quwait and countless other should be thinking of, after Biden’s quite dismissive quotes about Afghanistan (a state which was under USA’s direct control) and its lives of their people.
Australians have already learnt this in hard way.
Even Japan will think ten times before betting on US help against even rogue elements like NOKO and hundred times for China.
US has lost face globally. They can sail their boats across Taiwan Straights all they like, but now everyone knows that what will happen if someone in China decides that its enough now.
Frankly even you guys should come out and accept the new reality of word. Days of counting on US help in tough times is gone. Its Better to make deals with devils in neighbourhood and if possible prepare to take them down on your own.

This stuff is for special forces doing hit and run ops, not to breach walls of loc. Once they try to intrude and kill our soldiers, all bets are off and higher caliber will open up. No amount of snipers and armour can withstand ATGMs , mortars, artillery and MBRLs, if used. They have same advantages during fog but we now sport heat seekers and IR cameras along infiltration route.

They have to come in numbers to do something big, like kargil otherwise it's business as usual, one or two big terror strikes, hundreds of failed attempts and that won't cause a dent to India, speaking in geostratigic terms. Tactics evolve eventually, on both sides.

The reason the US has pulled out is to focus on China and the Pacific.

Probably 99% India will not host US forces, may be US can station a carrier in Indian ocean & fly drones from there. After the US cut & run operation in afghanistan most countries will think twice on hosting or taking support from US.

And how exactly Handing over of a country to a terrorist regeimen(Haqqani Network) propped up by China and its stooge will help them to achieve that ?
If anything it will make China more fearless as they now have complete access to Afghanistan via its proxy Pakistan and can simply buy out or eliminate any resistance like they did in Panjshir valley.
Now China has an option to completely bypass Malacca strait via pakistan or Afghanistan and Iran.
So in Short US *censored*ed up once again as they do most of the times. Compare that to how Putin handled the hopeless situation in Syria for Asad against the more brutal ISIS and much more resource rich Turkey backed by almost all the western powers.
Putin took control in his hand and turned the situation upside down. While Biden and his woke military generals just ran away.
No one will believe any shit coming from these disgraced lot and will take USA as any serious power in world affairs.

Also Biden is making amends with China as we speak and helping China punish Australia by fulfilling its demands of dairy products at the cost of Australian farmers.

This is how they slowly creep in. I wonder if the Americans will reciprocate with an IN base in Guam.
