That was so predictable...
Russia was the only thing that stood between Azeris and Armenians; but Putin has decided to focus all of Russia's military projection capabilities into Ukraine. So now Azerbaijan can resume genociding the Armenians, with the full support of Turkey and Israel. The West will not move, Europe because it lacks the ability to do so, and America because it sees Azerbaijan as a potential asset for an invasion of Iran and will therefore let them do everything they want. Iran will not act because that would bring it into conflict with Turkey and that would be the trigger for the Americans to attack them.

Seems to me that the Republic of Artsakh is internationally recognised as part of Azerbaijan and that's what they took back in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War. This was necessary to avoid their country being split in two and cut-off from each other. Nothing was taken back that was not taken in First Nagorno-Karabakh War.

[…], the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan has claimed that the video footage spread on social networks about the so-called accumulation of heavy military equipment by Iran on the border with Azerbaijan was fake.
According to the embassy, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) does not have an official telegram channel, and the official position of the IRGC can be learned only through official channels and the spokesman of the agency.
"The reports spread on social networks are fake. That footage was originally filmed several years ago under different circumstances. Such rumors are circulated by those who want to harm the relations between Iran and Azerbaijan," the embassy said.
Armenia and Azerbaijan were fighting over this area a hundred years ago, the Soviet Union invaded and annexed both. In a bid to try to get Turkey on his side, Stalin gave two Armenian regions to the Socialist Republic of Azerbaijan. This didn't work and Turkey eventually joined NATO. Armenians kept trying to get back this region (they were entirely ethnically cleansed from the other), including by resuming war when the USSR crumbled.
