Heron 1 has 115hp with 200kg payload. Heron 2 (recent induction along LAC) is more in line with Archer NG.

Does IA or IAF operate the Heron-TP? Archer-NG looks very similar to IAI Eitan/Heron-TP.
Going for Single Engine Twin Boom design was bound to happen. During the Aero india 2017 technical seminar APVS Prasad who was leading the Rustom-2 mentioned that this configuration is optimal for the requirements (Check my post then for notes).

The same number of countries produce something in this class , as the turbofans club.
And unlike Kaveri program, GOI hasn't funded a indigenous attempt till now.
I wonder if htse core can be used to develop turboprop engine we can even use htfe 25 core also.
Maybe because the htse-1200(s) core was particularly designed for the purpose of turboprop applications and is powerful as well (1600 shp). Take my opinions with an ocean of salt, bcz I am no expert in this field, sir.
