Today in 1990, the original inhabitants of Kashmir were thrown out from their homes & India failed to defend Kashmiri Pandits.
Forgotten people, have some Kashmiri Pandit friends, they move on with their life normally but at the back of their mind always long to go back to their old place and houses.

They've walked in the glorious path of the Hindus before them - from present day Pakistan & Afghanistan since just after partition till date . Meekly packed up their bags and moved on . The adjective - meekly best describes the post partition exodus from these countries from the 1950's onwards , from Afghanistan too in the recent past & now from the valley and gradually from different parts of India in the time to come .

Meanwhile for all the talk of a RW government in power , neither have they nor have their supporters had much solace to offer the KP's w.r.t re settlement in the valley .

The KP's themselves have moved on as will other such Hindu groups who eventually become a minority in their own region over a period of time . After all the full fledged Islamisation of the valley is not a very old phenomenon. It can be traced back to Sikandar Butshikan who ruled in the late 14th & early 15th century .

We still have plenty of time , by that yardstick . A good 4-5 centuries to go . Let's continue our age old traditional path of least resistance & of leaving everything to karma.
