Indian Naval Aviation : Updates and Discussions

Excellent write-up on the Ka-31. The airframe IN 724 is shown in the picture above.

It's time to MLU, hopefully with Indian radar.

Indian radar, a good self protection suite/defensive suite, maybe SDRs too.

The ex-IAF cadre -- always demonstrating such leadership and class.

It certainly clears up for me as an outsider why they're managed the way they are.
He is from the Navy. He was literally the naval chief of staff. Hal should have some shame after literally killing and injuring pilots with their shoddy workmanship and horrible customer service of not listening to basic customer feedback and denying design issues.

So we have 6 original Mk42C along with 4 converted Mk42B (Utility) in service as of now.

INAS 336 will have 3 Mk42B operational for trials and testing of weapons like NASM-SR and ALWT.

A couple of Mk42B with still some life might be used in INAS 336 to train the pilots for Mk42C.

Rest all airframes will now be caniballised to support the 13 operational airframes.

I stand corrected but I am no HAL apologist. And as chief, he more than anyone else ought to know what it takes to build and motivate a team. Will such public bashing spur HAL to improve or just cause greater resentment leading things to become even more siloed? I really don't follow the logic here...

Don't worry, HAL is quite shameless; sam dam dand bhed all can be tried; it won't stop them from not working. Public court cases and judgments didn't induce any shame in them, and so an honest tweet is not going to hurt their feelings either.

By the way, you care about the feelings and morale of HAL. What happens when terms like import bahadur are used? Do they hurt morale? When leadership and "CLASS" of IAF are questioned for legitimate demands? After all, IAF lost more men to HAL than the other two services.

So testing is an achievement now? How many failed tests covered up? How many years late are these projects?

We still dont have a basic sub sonic Ashm or any cruise missile of that matter.

No one cares buddy. Its a pubic company. They will have full order backlogs even if they kill men in uniform with their sub per QC.
