India - United States Relations

Some people suffer from a deep rooted inferiority complex, so no matter how many statements you put, that isn't going to change a thing from their perspective.

Who is the loser over here? Its India not usa or china or Pakistan. China, soko, japan etc all had meetings with Trump and earned favour for their country. And we, because of ego we skipped multiple occasion where we had opportunity to meet mr Trump to take the advantage.

US concerns are partially correct. They had offered us cutting edge techs which we don't get from Russia, they only asks of not to buy oil & weapons from Russia. Its natural for anyone to demands such things from a partner nation not to buy weapon from opposite block

We gave red carpet & warm hugb to xi in 2019 Tamilnade. Then they gave galwan to us in 2020. Only god knows what sort of surprise they gonna give to us now.
Trump may be a narcissistic, but not an evil person like xi...

That Trump fellow really don't want any war in world, a peace preaching US president who really in to peace is bad for world & weapon Industry.

Trump had given multiple windows to Putin for a safe exit, he didn't utilize it.

I have mad respect to Modi now for listening to USA ( if at all happened the way Trump claims).

This is not self respect.
Its deep rooted inferiority complex.

We have seen Devyani case. She was stripped and searched. Do that today.. you will see how actual response looks like.

Same people took Canada's side over Nijjar rift.
Also comparing some weird comments of US admin with Devyani case is like comparing a pile of sand with a mountain. I don't understand what point Shri Shri Ashtamukha Hydra ji wants to make here by bringing that incident into the conversation here.

@Rajput Lion Trump & Trump administration publicly humiliated current GOI in multiple occasion. To those who are undermining "Good actor " statement, our Russian import was in declining trend for last few months, i think that was because of the ongoing Indo US trade deal during that time and US demanding of staying away from Russian oil. I beleive, we would have put a complete stop before signing the deal if US court didn't intervene on Trump's Tariff, as that was the precondition for deal.

Lastly, after seeing Trump administration statement, and the way GOI's reacts/non reaction, now i even started beleiving that Modi had listened Trump during op-sindoor.

There can be something is out there which public like we doesn't know about US's current leverage over India. It could be ovetal Indian ecenomical intetest or interest of industry close to GOI or worse Subramanian Swamy's version have some merit. We should thank this government if first was the case for taking blame silently for the country, but if last two was the scenario then they should face consequences.

Trump is a Mad Guy

So we have to be careful with our words

We can stay quiet and keep buying Russian crude

We also need US markets for Our Merchandise exports

And GE engines for Tejas

So let them Talk And give us Good Behaviour Certificates

We will Use these Certificates when We have to Go to War with Pakistan

USA being the largest consumer market plus our ally against China is vital for us. Even if some of their statements makes GOI feel like their biatch, for national interests, so be it.

Reliance has the Capabilities for refining The Heavy Venezuela Crude Oil

As things stand, Reliance Industries seems set to become one of the most important energy companies in the world, over & above what it already is.

They'll be uniquely equipped to handle Venezuela's resources (the largest reserves in the world) through their US business, while their Indian operations (Jamnagar refinery) would be uniquely equipped to handle Iran's resources, if they ever end up getting unlocked for the wider world.

Even otherwise (if Iranian sanctions stay), one has to wonder if it would still make economic & practical sense to continue operating refineries in the Gulf where threat of further conflict persists, as opposed to moving all refining capacity (which is much more sensitive to attacks & much harder to rebuild than oil wells) to the next closest major stop outside the Gulf - India.

A lot of the Gulf's data centre operations have already been moved to India given the recent attacks on centres in the MidEast. While this is temporary, it will undoubtedly factor into calculations for future operations/expansion in the region.

One has to wonder if oil refining follows suit.

trust me,we will start importing refined diesel & petrol from USA's Venezuela crude in near future.

If we get a good price, nothing wrong with it.

But Gulf oil will always be priority for us as it's closer, so cheaper to ship.

If we are getting crude, its immaterial. But a big no to refined crude oil products.

Reliance has the Capabilities for refining The Heavy Venezuela Crude Oil

Actually india has the capability to refine as well as produce heavy oil from underground, not just reliance.

Let's see. Trump has posted about this; his various lackeys have posted about this. US ambassador has posted about this. But no comments yet from the Indian govt. or Reliance. Not a very encouraging sign.

Wouldn't be the 1st time Trump has shot his mouth off. Let's see.
