Every time Pakistan is on the brink.......Indian establishment bails it out with a ceasefire and meaningless “goodwill.”......... Pakistan will always be used by some one or the other to contain India. But what does containing mean should be clear.
If India and Pakistan are in conflict and India has zero territorial gains, then it means Pakistan( or their master) has successfully contained India.
If India and Pakistan are in conflict and India has gained territory, then it means Pakistan ( or their master) has failed to contain India.
Yes there is one big advantage in this. Pakistan and its political masters are making India more self confident and reliable, because India has stopped trusting others.

I mean if we don't even gain territory and just economically destroy Pakistan by taking out it's strategically & economically important infrastructure like Karachi port and all those fauji foundation factories.
