Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

So essentially the rafale which (potentially) got shot down was likely in ground strike mode only and not air to air? If so we need to unleash the air to air beast now that Pak has violated ceasefire.

That's not how the Rafale works, but a jet is vulnerable when carrying A2G loads. It suffers more drag, performance issues, lower survivability etc. So the enemy has an opportunity to get a drop on the strike group if top cover and protection groups have failed to protect the strike group.

Plus the IAF attacked on the first day without SEAD/DEAD. Some losses here and there won't be out of place in such a situation.

Remember, this is the first war since WW2 that we are seeing air action between peer powers with the latest 4.5th gen technologies, and the IAF is the one conducting more risky missions. Rafale is the best operational multirole jet in the West today and J-10C is China's best one from the same generation carrying quite literally the same weapons PLAAF uses. So there's a lot at stake for pretty much all stakeholders globally.

Here comes another one doing waha wahi of porkeestan so typical & he is doing this from the moment he landed there 😂......I mean porkee have nothing to show for this so called massive barrage of fire that they unleashed meanwhile we have videos, ground imagery as well as satellite imagery to show the spanking porkee received specially on their Airbases 😁

People...shut the F up about Rafale for once! The strategic picture of the Subcontinent is being redrawn and you all are stuck up about the potential loss of a single tactical platform??

I mean, in a encounter of 4.5 gen vs 4.5 gen why is it inconcievable for some people that losses might happen?

This is the problem with idolizing something to be some invincible, invisible silver bullet when in reality it's nothing of the sort. And when the inevitable happens, people end up getting disproportionately demoralized because the platform they thought was invincible potentially turns out to be not so.

TLDR; You're all focusing on the wrong thing!

One, it matters quite a lot. Two, all alternative information we have about the ongoing operations is mostly rumors.

Most of the crap you see on social media is just crap, very little to do with reality. And people do tend to go back to what they can understand once in a while since there's nothing else concrete to discuss. It's a normal thing.

The subcontinent is indeed being redrawn, but we have pretty much zero information about pretty much everything that's happening. This includes a lot of retired professionals, who have mostly been guessing and/or just commenting whatever they can on the usual social media crap being dished out by all sides.

So apparently the scale of the Pak attack shocked India, forcing India to stop - from belting Pak anymore
India knew its ammo dumps would be targeted so it invested in sound proofing their explosions - 2 dumps hit but no one heard a thing
The poor lady whose only fault is piloting a Rafale, is being hunted by crazed Lahoris all over Porkland while she cluelessly attends briefings at her base
The S-400 which is still on guard better stand down - since Pak mujhadis have killed it in a parallel universe

I absolutely want them extinct but their creativity amuses me. The paradox of life !!!!!

Brace yourselves - We are going to see a flurry of "secret reports" / "leaks" / "satellite analysis" to force us to believe that Pak did something.

Apparently India has a software that can scrub videos from cyberspace so vids are not coming as openly as they did from Pak. Perhaps Israel is helping. </sarcasm>
